I Never Liked Dee Dee

Another nostalgia piece. I started doing this when I was younger, but I'm becoming increasingly fond of noting parallel shows, ones with similar themes on different TV stations. In this case it's Jimmy Neutron (Nickelodeon) and Dexter's Laboratory (Cartoon Network). I even went back and watched a few episodes of each to jog my memory. Some of the thoughts provoked by the shows haven't changed (why were Susie and Libbie's designs altered?); others have matured (I could totally see Sheen being Hispanic) -- but the most important one is the fact that I still HATE Dexter's sister Dee Dee. She was ditsy, annoying, couldn't keep her hands to herself, and caused nothing but trouble... Poor Dex

So with that in mind, I decided to make a Parallel Crossover piece featuring her essentially getting everyone in trouble. It took a while to color because I'm trying to be more disciplined with my work -- but that's definitely going to be an ongoing process. I did get myself to read ONE tutorial and play around with brushes in photoshop some though. Even found a new brush that I like. Soooo we're getting there (baby steps). As usual, I still feel like something's missing in the work. Maybe you can help me with that.
